It's sad that I have to explain this but here we go.

"Commander" is a persona. While our sexuality represents an integral part of our personality, it is just that, a part. Your sexuality does not define you. Your wishes do not define you. The only thing that defines you is your actions.

I don't go about my every day abducting, raping, and choking women. On BDSMlr, however, Commander does. I don't believe that anyone can be worthless. Commander does. I don't find slavery natural. Commander does.

Some of my posts are fantasies, others are wishes, and the rest are there because I find them aesthetically pleasing or purely for shock value. Which is which changes over time because sexuality is complex and cannot be described with black and white colors.

In real life, every single thing I do, no matter how weird or vile it may seem out of context, it is done under the premises of mutual consent.

I had to post this for two reasons:

a) I get contacted a lot by young adult women who seem confused about what is "normal." The truth is that young adult life sucks. On the one hand, you're overwhelmed with carnal urges. On the other hand, you don't have enough experiences yet to help you distinguish the healthy from the unhealthy. To you I say: Do not rush into things. Safety comes first. Talk about your emotions and wishes before committing to something.

b) I get contacted semi-frequently by dudes who congratulate me on being a "true Man" and then proceed to rave about women and society's current state. Unsurprisingly, their blogs also include political content. To you I say: There is no such thing as a "true Man." Your behavior is erratic and worrying. You can ignore this and live a life that has a negative net value emotionally (i.e., your actions will make both you and the people around you miserable) or you can take a step back and reevaluate your choices.
